Kitchen

There’s a full range of equipment, including a double sink, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and wide slice toaster. There is plenty of crockery and glasses (but guests are asked to please use the plastic ones outside!). There are also plenty of cupboards for storing food. It is very easy to prepare and clear up after your meals in this kitchen, so you won’t need to eat out too much.

Dining Room

The dining room is open-plan to the kitchen on one side and on the other side, through a stunning traditional Cyprus stone archway, there is the living room. The dining table seats six in comfort. Artefacts include a remarkable Japanese staircase cupboard on one wall, a reclining Buddha on the sideboard and a Balinese wooden frieze. To keep cool, there is a ceiling fan over the dining table and a large air conditioning fan unit which also serves the kitchen area. The high ceiling in this room makes it a cool, open area for lively conversation around mealtimes.

Living Room

The living room has sofa seating for six. There is an internet based TV system offering 12 UK channels, including all the BBC channels, ITV, Channel Four, Film Four and Sky News. There is also a DVD player and a video player. You can keep cool with the ceiling fan or air conditioner. There are good views through the glass walls and patio doors to the garden terraces and pool. Artefacts include a Chinese wood carving, Thai rocking chair and Indonesian table lamps. The elegant colour combination of the sofas, walls and flooring makes this a very relaxing space.

Double Bedroom

This is a beautiful bedroom with patio doors overlooking the pool area. There is a 5 ft. double bed with bedside cupboards and lights, plenty of drawers and lots of wardrobe space to hang your clothes. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and an air conditioner. All the air-conditioners in the villa are quiet fan-coil units served by remote condensers, so they won’t disturb your sleep. Enjoy views from the bed to the pool over your morning cuppa.

Twin Bedroom

There are two twin bedrooms, offering you flexibility to accommodate your group. They both have plenty of storage cupboards for your clothes and they look out over the front garden and the side garden. Each bedroom has a bedside table and lighting, a ceiling fan and an air conditioner.

Bathrooms

There are two bathrooms in the villa, both offering modern facilities and both lined with the same unusual pattern of attractive tiles. One is a full bathroom with an over-sized bath, separate shower stall, extra-large sink and WC. The other is a shower room with sink and WC. The shower room is also home to the washing machine, keeping noise elsewhere in the villa to a minimum.

Outside Dining Terrace

The dining terrace provides a lovely sunny spot to enjoy an al fresco breakfast or lunch. The glass/steel table seats six and can accommodate a large parasol. You will spend a lot of time sitting, eating, drinking and chatting here!

Roof Terrace

The roof terrace always offers a stunning view down the hillside to the sea. There is a table and chairs and a couple of sun-beds which are never in the shade! This is a fabulous spot to sit with your sun-downer and watch the sky colours change towards sunset.

Swimming Pool

The lovely pool offers a great way to cool off in the hotter months. It is surrounded by low stone walls and planters. It catches the full sun from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the summer season but is totally secluded and never overlooked. There are sunbeds, several parasols, two BBQ units and a spectacular ‘Sunsail’ to provide shade if required. In the evenings, turn the down-lighters on around the pool for a great atmosphere. One guest described this area as the best private pool in Cyprus!
